Prof. Emeka Jude Okereke is the Director of University of Port Harcourt Business School, and  Member of PHSAID Board of Trustees. He is a Certified Management Consultant, Professor of Finance and Banking, Adjunct Professor to two Nigerian Universities at different times and has many journal publications to his credit in local and international reputable journals and books (including joint works and chapter contributions). 

He holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Management, and Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Banking & Finance from Abia State University, Uturu, Nigeria; a Master of Science in Banking & Finance (M.Sc) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Financial Management Technology from Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Nigeria.

Emeka has served in both private and public sectors of the Nigerian economy. Currently he is working with University of Port Harcourt, 

where he served as two-term Co-ordinator, ACIB Linkage Programme; Head, Department of Finance & Banking; Associate Dean, 

and Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences; and Member, Senate Committee on Academic Policy, and University Council Budget Monitoring 

Committee; Senate and Member, Governing Board College of Continuing Education (CCE), among others and serving as Member of University 

of Port Harcourt Senate. He is Member of a number of local and international academic and professional bodies including The Academy of 

Management Nigeria; Fellow (Research), International Academy of Business and Behavioral Sciences USA; Fellow, Institute of Management Consultants; 

Fellow, Nigeria Institute of Sales Management; Fellow, Institute of Industrial Administration of Nigeria; Project Leader, European Business Competence Licence, Austria. He served as Independent Monitor, Universal Basic Education (UBEC) in collaboration with Federal Ministry of Education Teachers’  Professional Development Programme, Ekiti State; International Committee Board Member, 33rd,34th,36th, and 37th IBIMA Conferences 2018, 2019, 2020, 

and 2021 respectively; serving as Member, Board of Trustees, proposed NEW-WORLD INT’L UNIVERSITY, Onitsha, Anambra State; Advisor, HELP Fellowship Nigeria; Member, Board of Trustees, HUTZPA Centre for Innovation and Development. He has served as a Lead Financial Consultant to many companies in resolution of toxic assets with Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON). Prof Emeka Okereke has also served as Professorial Assessor and Assessment Expert/External Examiner to many Nigerian Universities, Chairman and Member Ad-Hoc Accreditation Panel, National Universities Commission (NUC). He is also serving as Advisor/Coordinator, African Programs, Alpha Zomax Consultants Inc., 

Chicago, USA. He is community development-driven and has facilitated and sponsored projects including medical outreaches, rural electrification, and road rehabilitations.
